A LIFE-SIZE sculpture of a child created by a Crawley art student has been unveiled to celebrate 100 years of Ladybird Books.The Child Sculpture, which is of a young boy reading a book, was created by Loughborough University student Paula Riley and now sits outside the Leicestershire town's shopping centre.Its 21-year-old designer, who grew up in Bewbush with her parents and two siblings, won a commission from Charnwood Borough Council to create the piece to commemorate the centenary of the...
